How WiseSwiss actually makes money
Some links on this site are affiliate or referral links, and some reviews involve a commercial relationship with the company reviewed. Both are always disclosed on the page itself, see our Disclosure page. Commercial relationships never influence a review’s score, see our Editorial Policy for the methodology that keeps the two separate.
What data we do collect
- Your email address, only if you choose to subscribe to the newsletter, confirmed via a double opt-in link before you’re added to any list.
- A small number of functional cookies: remembering that you’ve seen the cookie notice, and that you’ve seen (or dismissed) the newsletter prompt, so it doesn’t reappear every visit.
- Basic, aggregated analytics once an analytics tool is connected, to understand which guides are useful, not to identify or track individuals.
Our Financial Planner tool specifically
The income, expense, and household details you enter into the Financial Planner are calculated entirely in your own browser. None of it is transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere, only your email address is, and only if you choose to unlock your results by subscribing.
